China's CPE production capacity ranks in the forefront of the world, and the price is relatively low, so CPE is added to most PVC hard applied convenience products. MBS is mainly used for hard transparent products, and the production technology is difficult. China has 1000 ton devices, so we should speed up the development of 10000 ton device production technology. Raw materials for ACR series production include MMA, butyl acrylate, ethyl hexyl acrylate, styrene, etc. ACR impact modifier can also be prepared by grafting MMA onto alkyl acrylate. The consumption of ACR used in PVC hard products in Europe and the United States has accounted for 90% of the total consumption of impact modifier in this field. China is developing and improving production technology, so that the exploration and development of MMA and domestic lithium resources are significantly accelerated, and raw materials such as acrylate are fully utilized
at present, China's plastic processing aids and impact modifiers industry is relatively backward, with small output, few varieties and incomplete modification functions of high-performance products, and the total annual output is only 40kt. The contradiction between supply and demand of processing aids and impact modifiers with excellent comprehensive performance is prominent, and we still need to rely on imports to meet the needs of the domestic market for future technology centers. It is estimated that the domestic market demand for plastic processing aids and impact modifiers will reach 65 ~ 70KT next year and 136kt in 2010
